2007 was a great year for all operations
of the Time Dollar Youth Court!
For the past three years, the Time Dollar Youth Court has invested time and energy into initiatives to improve infrastructure and operational components of the court.
In 2007, Youth Court received over 778 referrals from its various sources. Youth Court heard 639 cases during the calendar year and 444 youth have completed the program to date.

A staff member collects information from the Processing Unit of the Juvenile Division to find out what teens have been rearrested. At the last collection of data, the recidivism rate for Youth Court participants was 17% (as opposed to 30% for those in the DC area who were not referred to Youth Court).
